About Kauthukam .47

Kauthukam .47 is the annual arts and cultural festival of Sheikh Fareed Auliya Da’wa College, a premier institution affiliated to Darul Huda Islamic University. Situated in the serene village of Odamala, Perinthalmanna, Malappuram, Kerala, the college has been a beacon of academic excellence and holistic development.

The very name Kauthukam carries a profound meaning — “Unity is Strength” — a value deeply embedded in the spirit of the festival. This ethos reflects in every aspect of the celebration, where creativity, teamwork, and unity converge to inspire students and spectators alike.

The festival provides a vibrant platform for students to showcase their talents across over 300 programs, embracing a wide spectrum of competitions — including stage and non-stage events, individual performances, group activities, and sports.

A hallmark of Kauthukam .47 is the spirit of healthy competition among the four dynamic houses — Alpha, Nexa, Omega, and Liora. Each house embodies creativity, teamwork, and determination, striving to leave an enduring mark in this cultural celebration.

Through this festival, the college seeks not only to nurture artistic expression but also to foster values of unity, discipline, and leadership among its students, in alignment with the broader mission of Darul Huda Islamic University.
